OVERVIEW

Another victim of Lebanon’s economic downfall and Beirut’s August 4th blast, the education sector in Lebanon needs to be supported before the country suffers irreversible repercussions.

With the severe economic crisis, the Covid-19 pandemic, and the Beirut Port explosion, many parents lost their jobs and can no longer afford their children’s tuition fees.

In partnership with Murex, we launched our education program FORSA to support the Lebanese education sector by covering the tuition fees of the most vulnerable students.

“Beit el Baraka is keen to invest all what is needed to bring back Lebanon’s leadership as a talent hub, and this can only happen with a solid education system. ”

FORSA II

In 2022, we launched FORSA II, a project designed to provide renewable and green energy for schools with an aim to curb the escalating cost of fuel.
This program will allow schools to use the savings from the solar system, to offset unpaid tuition fees of students for the next 3 academic years.

KHADDIT BEIRUT

Through the “Kaddit Beirut” program, Beit el Baraka and the American University of Beirut (AUB) are providing public school teenagers with an unparalleled opportunity to master computer science in stunning, state-of-the-art tech labs created by Beit el Baraka’s architects. The zero-waste tech labs allow students to spend their afternoons in a bright and cozy environment while using the newest technology. This program seeks to give underprivileged students in Lebanon equitable access to technology and high-quality tech education, enabling them to pursue new opportunities.
