What We Do

We create sustainable solutions and models that empower communities and foster long-term impact.

We believe that every Lebanese in need deserves a dignified life with access to food, education, and job opportunities.

With a mission to ensure dignity to vulnerable families in a spirit of respect and support, our work has expanded over the years from providing food security, decent livelihood and education, to creating innovative sustainable solutions and models that aim at leading scalable social change and inspiring communities. Through hands-on training, skill development, job creation, and the cultivation of local know-how, our aim is to empower futures, transforming beneficiaries into active contributors of the society.

Why Dignity

Because dignity transforms charity into opportunity, and need into action. It’s what allows people to feel seen, respected, and capable. At Beit el Baraka, dignity means treating every person with potential, not just needs. Dignity lies at the heart of what we do: empowering people to contribute, learn, and rebuild their lives with purpose, by giving them the tools they need to move forward: access to education, trainings, jobs, and decent living conditions.

Our Programs

82% of Lebanon’s population struggles to afford food. Through our free supermarket and agro-farming initiative, we provide families with dignity, choice, and sustainable nutrition.
FORSA was launched in 2021 to address Lebanon’s crises that left many families unable to afford tuition, helping over 35,000 students stay in school.
Across 53 villages, 1,200 women turn Lebanon’s rich terroir into premium mouneh and crafts empowering underprivileged communities and fueling sustainable growth.

Give Directly

“Give Directly” turns compassion into something deeply personal. You choose a life, a story, a need, and your donation goes straight to that person. No distance, no abstraction, just a direct human connection that changes a life.

Case 1
Her husband passed away seven years ago following a heart attack. Since then, she has carried the full responsibility of providing for her three children alone. Working from home as a hairdresser, her income remains unstable and insufficient to meet even their most basic needs. Her eldest daughter is currently in Terminale, at a critical stage in her education. Due to financial hardship, she has been unable to settle her school fees and now faces an outstanding balance of $2,414 in addition to 60,000,000 LBP. The school has requested full payment by the end of the month. With no financial support and no fixed income, she is left with limited options. Her only priority is to ensure her daughter can continue her education and sit for her official exams.

Our Goal $2,414
Case 2
A family of four is currently living under acute financial and medical strain, with two children aged 10 dependents on their care. The father is battling cancer and has undergone bladder removal surgery and relies on an external urinary bag for daily living. So, his condition has forced him out of work, eliminating the family’s primary source of income. With no stable earnings, the family is struggling to cover the cost of essential medical supplies, in addition to their most basic daily needs. Immediate support is required to ensure the continuity of the children’s education. Assistance with school fees is critical to secure their enrolment for the upcoming academic year and protect their access to learning and future opportunities.
Amount Raised $0
Our Goal $1,323
Case 3
A 19-year-old young woman is living with epilepsy and requires daily treatment with Vimpat (200 mg). The cost of her medication is $150 every 28 days, which the family is struggling to afford. Without this treatment, she is at high risk of severe epileptic seizures. She is currently pursuing her studies in hotel management, despite her medical condition. Her mother is her primary caregiver and stays home to support her. The father works in aluminium, but his income is unstable and insufficient to cover the family’s needs. The eldest daughter contributes financially and helps cover part of the medication cost. The family is facing significant financial hardship and requires urgent support to ensure continuous access to essential medication and basic living need
Amount Raised $0
Our Goal $1,950
Case 4
An 87-year-old man lives alone following the loss of his wife. He previously worked at a travel agency but is no longer able to generate any income. He has no children and no family to support him. He currently resides in a rented home with a monthly rent of $250, an amount he cannot afford on his own, and lives under constant threat of eviction. Given his old age and financial vulnerability, he is at serious risk of losing his shelter. Urgent support is needed to help cover his rent and ensure he can continue to live in safety and dignity.
Amount Raised $0
Our Goal $3,000
Case 5
Rana is a widow who raised her two children on her own. Although her children are now older and contribute as much as they can, the family remains under significant financial pressure. Her daughter suffers from a kidney condition and requires regular dialysis, which has added a heavy and ongoing medical burden. They live in a rented home, and Rana struggles to keep up with monthly payments, leading to recurring tension with the landlord. Rana and her son work in the mouneh business, specialising in vegan products. She was recently accepted to join Souk el Tayeb, a step that would allow her to access a broader market and grow her activity. However, she must first register her business, a cost she is currently unable to afford. A contribution of $700 to complete the registration would enable her to formalise her activity, expand her sales, and move toward a more stable and sustainable source of income.
Amount Raised $0
Our Goal $700
