A 58-year-old woman is the sole caregiver for her 64-year-old brother, who suffered a severe brain haemorrhage and stroke. He also suffers from advanced cataracts, with significant vision loss, and requires surgery on both eyes. She is unable to work, as her brother requires constant supervision and assistance.
