A family-run bakery in Bachoura, operated jointly by a husband and wife, was severely impacted by the recent bombardments. The storefront sustained major damage, leaving the premises exposed and unsafe. As a temporary measure, the family was forced to seal the entrance with metal doors, significantly affecting the bakery’s visibility, accessibility, and daily operations. As a food business, proper ventilation and an open storefront are essential to ensure adequate hygiene standards, customer comfort, and the continuity of operations. The current conditions are placing the family’s only source of income at serious risk. The proposed intervention will rehabilitate the storefront, restoring safe and functional access to the bakery while enabling the family to resume normal operations and preserve their livelihood.
